The hotel from our two-country trip. Suites del Bosque is a 55 suite boutique hotel in San Isidro, the leafy financial and residential heart of Lima, a short walk from the El Olivar olive grove. Every room is a suite, most of them loft style with a sitting area and a sofa bed, so couples get space and families skip the second room.
Loft sitting area. Views to the El Olivar forest.
Loft sitting room, microwave, minibar. Marble bathroom with bathtub.

Quiet and residential, not a resort: there is no pool. Two kitchenette categories suit a week or more, and every suite has a sofa bed. Dogs are welcome (ask us about size limits and fees).
Eating and drinking. Cafeteria Los Cristales serves breakfast daily, and Los Cristales Bar is open until 8:30 pm. Room service 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Whether breakfast is in your rate depends on the rate, and we say so on the quote.
The practical bits. Check-in 3:00 pm, check-out 12:00 noon, a 24 hour reception. Free parking, free Wi-Fi throughout, a gym on the third floor, a business centre, laundry and dry cleaning, and a lift to all 12 floors. Suites have air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, a bathtub and a desk; connecting rooms are available.

Jamaican passport holders enter Peru visa-free, and the flight from Montego Bay is direct, so there is no US transit. Passport valid 6 months past your return to be safe (3 is the minimum). We check it before ticketing.
Available on request. Machu Picchu is an experience on its own and needs extra nights added to the trip. Say so when you ask for a quote and we build it in.
Peru uses the sol. Cards work in hotels and restaurants; carry soles for taxis, markets and tips. Change US$ there, not J$. Nobody will take J$.
Cooler than home. Lima is grey and mild from May to October and warm from December to March. Pack a light jacket either way.
Flights are non-refundable once ticketed. Refunds on the balance vary. We'll let you know before you pay.
