Eating and drinking. Restaurant Saloma is the buffet, Andean and international, and there is a bar.
The practical bits. Free Wi-Fi, parking, a 24 hour reception and laundry. Rooms have air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, cable television and a private bathroom with a shower; some look over the pool, some over the city. Built in 1997, renovated in 2015.

Jamaican passport holders enter Panama visa-free, and the flight is direct, so there is no US transit. Passport valid 6 months past your return to be safe (3 is the minimum). We check it before ticketing.
Panama uses the US dollar. Change your J$ before you leave. Nobody in Panama will take it. Cards work but add fees; cash is easier for taxis and small places.
